Looking for the duck hunting experience of a lifetime?  I am located in the center of three excellent marsh systems, Saskeram, Root & Reeder, and the Sumerberry as well as numerous surrounding lakes that offer some of the best duck hunting in North America.  There is a wide variety and large number of birds.  Mallards, Pintails, Canvasbacks, Widgeon, Redheads and Gadwall are to be found, along with Canada and Snow geese. Duck hunts can be combined with fall bear hunting, grouse hunting and fishing. 

The limit of ducks is 8 of any combination.  That's right...It could be 8 all drake mallards, 8 canvasback or any combination of the duck species that adds up to 8.  We are usually done hunting by noon, so most hunters will bring their fishing pole and will fish the afternoons. If you don't want to fish, then you could enjoy the wilderness with some exceptional grouse hunting along the many logging roads around us. 

The duck hunt is done in the marsh.  I use 16-17 foot Jon boats equipped with a good blind.  I run stump jumper and mud buddy frames with 24 horse power plus. I  use weighted keel super magnum decoys that are in  new shape. When needed I will also use my buddy Willis the Robo Duck. Dogs are very welcome.  I use my own dog if you don't bring one.
